Ex-wife aids prosecution after learning of alleged hit attempt
Elena Walters didn't want to testify against her now ex-husband — despite his cheating, verbal abuse, repeated murder confessions and threats — until investigators revealed that he tried to have her killed, Denver jurors learned Wednesday.
